At the noon of 15 November, The law dissemination garden party was proved to be a great success, which was held by Law School Media Department, and organized by Administration, Sports, Academy, Outreach, Art, Volunteer and Organization Department of Law School. Taking an advantage of law major, the diverse and interesting activities in the garden party aimed to disseminate the law language that was unavoidable in our daily life to the whole school.

The beginning time was 11:45 a.m. which saw the flooded participants joining the games in seven sites, in addition to a site for prize. Operated by different Departments, the seven game sites covered all kinds of aspects in terms of law sense, internet safety, traffic safety, food safety, articles recitation, law comment, current affair and so on. According to how many games the participants passed, there were different prizes, for example, night lights, desk calendar and notes’ folder. And the luckiest guy got a ticket for Happy Valley. Students not only enjoyed themselves in the games, but also acquired much knowledge concerning the legal system.

In the same day, Xiaozhe Zhu, professor of SUFE Law School, gave a lecture centered on ‘the Civil Issues in the Internet era’ at the third classroom in the lecture room. Stared from 6:30 p.m. professor Zhu analyzed four Civil Law issues in online shopping, APP software, network tort and internet finance respectively, combined with relevant articles of law and network cases that occurred in recent years. The lecture talked about responsibility allocation between taxi software and the taxi driver from the entry-to-force time of online shopping transactions. In addition, it discussed from the disclosure of personal data on the internet to the way of distinguish the tort of internet financial institutions, and from principles and phenomena to the encounter measures.

The lecture covered a wide range from introduction of domestic articles and cases to the contrast of law rules at home and abroad, and to look forward to the development of relevant law. More specifically, professor Zhu introduced some law principles and cases which related to the common problems occurred in college students’ network and encouraged students to use legal weapons to protect interests. After that, professor Zhu answered many questions brought out by the present. And the lecture ended with the warm applause.

Designed to spread and practice law knowledge, ‘Law Dissemination Garden Party’ is an activity that not only enables Law School students to deeply impressed by the combination between theory and practice and the strength of law major, but also benefits all students to raise the legal awareness and to keep law in the heart all the time, and thus to lead a happy college life.
