On the afternoon of 27th April, 2016, the President and Professor Fan Liming came to SHUFE Law to investigate the 13th Five-year Plan and "Double first class" Construction accompanied by Director of Personnel Office Cheng Lin, Director of Research Office Xu Longbing, Executive Vice Dean of Graduate school Li Ginsong, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office Lin Fang, Deputy Director of Development and Planning Cao Lijuan, Propaganda Department Deputy Minister Kong Demin and so on. Team members of SHUFE Law and representatives of the Professor Committee attended the colloquia.
Dean of SHUFE Law Li Xueyao firstly made a introduction in terms of SHUFE Law’s establishment under the 13th Five-year Plan, SHUFE Law’s basic information, changes in the external environment, contradictions and difficulties in development, and his thinking in recent work. Other team members of SHUFE Law also presented their achievements and existing problems in the works they are in charge of. Then, the Professor Committee members put forward some constructive suggestions about discipline development as well.
After listening to the introduction, Present Fan firstly confirmed SHUFE Law’s catching the pivotal discipline construction, top-level design and great achievements in Teachers' construction, personnel training and scientific research with “Hold tight, grasp real, and catch a result”. Then she suggested, facing the external environmental changes, SHUFE Law should base itself and look to the whole country, handles the relationships between been mainstreamed and characteristic, internationalization and localization, does well on class-one doctoral discipline, builds and cultivates class-two discipline, stands out chacteristics, properly enlarges the scale of teachers team, forms a tight research team, promotes the talent training quality based on Master of Law educational system reformation and Common Law Certificate Class’s upgrading and transforming. For the party and government bodies and Professor Committee, they should coordination and distribution of their responsibilities, agglomerates mental efforts, runs the SHUFE Law better together and has “new improvement on new starting points”.
After that, heads of all functional divisions respectively offer advice and suggestions for SHUFE Law’s 13th Five-year Plan and "Double first class" Construction in terms of the works they are in charge of.
Dean of SHUFE Law Li Xueyao finally expressed that this time’s presence and guidance of SUFE’s leaders and departments has offered so many rare advice and suggestions for SHUFE Law’s 13th Five-year Plan Construction, leadership and staff of SHUFE Law will absorb in and practice those advice and suggestions seriously.
