22nd Feb. 2016, the column top news of the official website of MOE of PRC published a piece of news named Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Devotes Great Efforts to Cultivating Brilliant Legal Talent, which recognized the way of cultivating Brilliant legal talent of our school from three aspects, referring to strengthening interior building, co-cultivation, improvement through practice.
Feb. 2007, our school started a new round of educational reform with the way of cultivating brilliant legal talent as the main theme aiming at exploring how to cultivate compound talent with economical and legal background. We faced four questions, which were how to combine academic and practical aspects, how to cultivate compound and qualified talent with economical and legal knowledge to meet the demand of national strategic development, how to achieve the target of fostering talent under one way system of Bachelor-Master-Doctor and handle each period respectively, how to make our students stick to the position of China as well as possess the point a global outlook.
The cultivation schemes of educational reform of our school was recognized by MOE of PRC and SHMEC and other higher competent and educational authorities and different social sectors. We got many rewards during the past few years including the First Batch of Training Base of Cultivation of Brilliant Legal Talent (rewarded by MOE of PRC,2012), Exemplary Base of National Comprehension Reform(rewarded by MOE of PRC,2013), National Practice Base Outside School of law(rewarded by MOE of PRC,2013), Top Disciplines of Shanghai University and College(rewarded by SHMEC,2012), Training Base of Cultivation of Brilliant Legal Talent (rewarded by SHMEC,2012), Training Base of Cultivation of Brilliant Legal Talent Concerning Foreign Affairs or Foreign Nationals (rewarded by SHMEC,2012), Shanghai Graduate Education Innovation Project-J.M. Internship and Practice Base(rewarded by SOADC, 2012), Shanghai Graduate Education Innovation Project-Subject Guidance and Layout Construction Program.
