In the morning of November 24th, 2015, Dean of Law school of the University of Maine, Danielle M. Conway， along with Professor Xuan-Thao Nguyen and Associate Professor Morris Emily Michik, both of whom are from the Law School of Indiana University, visited the law school of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Assistant Dean Ge, Weijun and Associate Professor Hu, Ling received them.

After warm welcome to the group of Professor Conway, Mr. Ge introduced the development of our law school as well as Graduate Programs in English. Professor Conway then introduced Law school of the University of Maine, including its development, staff and LLM program. The advantage of its LLM program was, as Prof. Conway said, that tight academic relationship between professors and students can be established and that the cost of the program is reasonable, which may be less than 1/2 of the other law schools’. Both of Dean Ge and Professor Conway had an thorough meeting and intended to begin further cooperation on exchanging students, LLM program, cooperative research and teaching method.

The meeting ends in pleasant and delightful atmosphere. Professor Conway’s visit brings our school new information and orientation about internationalization of the Law School of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
