On August 10, SHUFE Law School hold a small seminar titled "State in Law" in Linan, a small town of Hangzhou, located in North Zhejiang Province. The attendees include legal scholars from Peking University, Renmin University, China University of Politics and Law, and so on, and several young scholars on SHUFE side. From the perspective of different majors in law, scholars proposed interesting topics over the role of state in law, the complicated interaction between state and law, and the future of state in a technology-driven world.

Indeed the seminar has been held for ten years. Prof. Zheng Shaohua, Dean of SHUFE Law, announced that the faculty would publish a 10th anniversary volume of selected papers submitted over the years.
