On November 18, 2018, the Entrepreneurship Center of Wuchuan Road Campus of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics held the second member representative meeting of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Alumni Association (the Twelfth Annual Meeting of Alumni Representatives) and the second first council of the Alumni Association. The Alumni Association of Law School was awarded the title of "Excellent Alumni Association of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics".

Since the enrollment of economic law students in 1987, there have been 5640 alumni of law. Alumni are distributed in government agencies such as court and procuratorate, financial institutions such as banks, securities, insurance and futures funds trust, law firms, large-scale enterprises and colleges and universities. Under the guidance of the Alumni Association of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, the Alumni Association of Law Academies has achieved rapid development with the support of schools and law schools.

Since its establishment on May 21, 2017, the Alumni Association of Law Academies has always adhered to the principle of building an alumni linkage platform and serving alumni. Efforts will be made to create a “Legal Alumni Forum” featuring the legal career development community, and a wide range of alumni activities will be launched to promote positive interaction between alumni and the college. Many activities have been recognized and praised by schools and alumni. In 2017, the Alumni Association of Law Colleges was awarded the " Characteristic Alumni Association of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics ", and in 2018, it was once again awarded the " Excellent Alumni Association of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics ". The Alumni Association of law academies will take this opportunity to uphold the hospital training of "economy-oriented, rule of law as the soul". In the new era, a new journey, and then proceed.
